Terms

The ground rules for the Prayer & Testimony Line.

This is plain English, not legal advice. If anything here conflicts with a signed agreement, the agreement wins.

Who we are

The Prayer & Testimony Line is run by Monolith3, a studio in Orange, California. "We" and "us" means Monolith3. "Your church" means the church or ministry that pays for a line. A "caller" is anyone who calls or texts it.

What you're buying

A local phone number for your church, for calls and texts. A private Inbox where your team reads and listens to each one. Morning emails, and exports of any month as a ZIP. It's $35 a month, the same for every church.

Paying

You pay from day one. There's no trial, because we get your number the moment you sign up. Stripe bills the card you give at checkout every month. There's no setup fee and no contract, and you can cancel anytime.

To cancel, email hello@prayertestimony.com. Your line keeps working to the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund part of a month.

If you cancel

When your last paid month ends, your Inbox turns read-only, and your team gets 30 days to read, listen and export everything. The line keeps answering during those 30 days. Subscribe again before the last day and nothing is lost, including your number. After that, we delete it all and release the number. Coming back later works, with a new number.

Your number

We rent the number for your church through our phone provider. It's yours to use while you're subscribed and through the 30 days after you cancel.

Want to take the number with you to another provider? Ask us, and we'll help where our phone provider allows it.

What callers hear

Every line uses the same greeting, with your church's name in it. It invites a prayer request or a testimony, says the call is recorded, points to 911 and 988, and asks whether the church may share it. Churches can't change the wording.

It isn't a crisis line

The line is not an emergency service, and nobody listens to calls as they come in. When a caller may be in danger, the line marks it Possible crisis and emails your Crisis contact. That check can miss things, and it can be wrong. Someone on your team still has to read each call and act.

Your side of it

Use the line for prayer requests and testimonies. Keep your team list current, so only the right people can read what callers leave. Don't use it for telemarketing or anything illegal where you are. We can switch off a line that's being abused.

What callers send

It belongs to the caller and your church. We use it for one thing: running your line. The privacy page says what we keep and how to get it deleted.

Our work

The site, the Inbox and the software behind them belong to Monolith3. So does the Prayer & Testimony Line name. Quoting us with a link is fine. Copying the product isn't.

No promises

We work to keep the line answering and the Inbox up. It's still offered as is. Phone networks and servers go down sometimes, and a call that comes in during an outage may not be recorded.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Monolith3 isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the line or this site, like lost profit or lost data. Some places don't allow limits like this, so parts of it may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes. If a change matters to how you use the line, we email your team at least 30 days before it takes effect. Using the line after that means you're fine with the new version.

Law and courts

California law governs these terms. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Orange County, California.
